Body Type
The body a lion has is similar to that of a cat. It is part of the Panthera family which includes, tigers, jaguars, and leopards. This group was created because all four of the animals are able to roar. The lion is equipped with powerful paws so that they can kill their prey. Their claws can be up to an nch and a half which is able to rip through the flesh of a zebra easily. Their paws also have a soft like pad on them so that they can hunt their prey quietly. The lions eyes are also sharper than a human due to their ability to see in the dark. What makes the lion lethal is their sharp canine teeth which tears the animals flesh and makes it easier for the animal to chew. Their back teeth, carnassals, make it easier for the animal to grind the meat and swallow.
